Erik currently serves as President of Tradition Mortgage, formed in 1998, Erik was one of the founding members. Besides continuing to actively originate mortgage loans, Erik is heavily involved as a partner with Tradition Development, Homes By Tradition, Tradition Construction Capital, Tradition Realty, and Esquire Title Services. Additionally, Erik currently serves on the board of directors for Tradition Capital Bank as well as being a current shareholder. Erik is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College (St. Peter, MN) with a degree in Financial Economics). When not immersed in the lending business, Erik is heavily involved in coaching youth girls hockey in Edina and currently serves on the Edina Hockey Association Board.

Jason was a founding partner of Tradition Mortgage in 1998. He graduated from St. John’s University in 1994 and began his mortgage career with Wells Fargo. Other than involvement in the Mortgage Company, Jason oversees the daily operations of the other Tradition Companies. Jason is married to his wife Lisa. They have three kids, Nick 8, Sophia 5, and Gianna 2 . They currently live in Woodbury, MN. Jason enjoys coaching hockey, golfing, fishing and spending time with his family at their cabin in Amery, WI.

Tom was a founding partner of Tradition Mortgage in 1998. He graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield MN in 1993 and began his mortgage career with Wells Fargo in 1994. At Tradition, Tom is responsible for business development including a joint relationship with the MN teachers union, Education Minnesota. Tom also specializes in new construction financing. Tom is married to his wife Alexia. They have a daughter, Elliet 6 and 4 year old twins, daughter Drew and son Max. They currently live in Inver Grove Heights. Tom enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, fishing and other various sports and outdoor activities.

Tom Nast has been working at Tradition Mortgage since the company was founded in 1999. Tom manages the REO properties owned by Tradition and also helps manage the companies business banking relationships. Tom has been in the finance industry for over 13 years, getting his start at Norwest Financial. He is married to wife Kelley and they have two daughters – Brook & Caroline. They currently live in Woodbury.

Dylan is a Sales Manager at Tradition. He has been with the company since it inception in 1998. As a loan officer, he developed a referral network based on trust and professionalism. This network proved to be the foundation of Dylan’s business, and in 2000 and 2001 he was recognized as Producer of the Year for Tradition Mortgage. In early 2002 Dylan earned partnership in the company and began his Sales Manager role. By mentoring current and new employees, Dylan helped grow the loan originations of the company to present day levels. Dylan earned his B.A. in Economics from St. Olaf College in 1997. He also spent a semester studying Economics at the University of Lancaster, Lancashire, England. By becoming a Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS) continuing, he is proud to have met the highest professional standards of his profession. This designation represents his commitment to the industry in the form of mortgage lending experience, education, and an agreement to abide by a code of ethics. Dylan and his wife Maggie live in Golden Valley with their three year old daughter, Emily.

John has been a part of the Tradition team since 1998. John is a Vice President/Partner with the mortgage company and focuses much of his time on mortgage origination. John graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in business administration. He and his wife Jackie had their first addition to their family in 2008 (Cooper). John enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, and exercising.

Rob McCormick is a partner with Tradition Mortgage and heads up the company’s Secondary Market Desk. Rob has over 14 years of residential lending experience and has earned the Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS) designation from the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. Rob is a native of Des Moines, Iowa and a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. He resides in Mahtomedi, MN with his wife and 3 daughters. Away from the office, Rob enjoys downhill skiing, golf and spending time with family.

Erika Eigner is a Senior Mortgage Consultant with Tradition Mortgage. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1995 and began her career at Tradition Mortgage in 1999. Erika is a graduate of the High Trust Sales Academy and has earned the Minnesota Mortgage Specialist (MMS) designation. She and her husband Ty reside in Lakeville with their 3 children - Peter, Ellie and Kate. In her spare time Erika enjoys her kids’ activities, hockey, running, golf and spending time with family and friends.

Chad Blofield is a Senior Mortgage Consultant with Tradition Mortgage. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1994. Chad started his career at Tradition Mortgage in 2002. Chad is married to his wife Julie, and they have two children – Lucas & Olivia. They currently live in Shakopee. Chad enjoys golfing, hockey, and other various sports and outdoor activities.

Jason Decker is a Senior Mortgage Consultant with Tradition Mortgage, and is certified as a Minnesota Mortgage Specialist (MMS). Jason graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2001 with a degree in Economics. Jason started his career in the mortgage industry with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and made the move over to Tradition Mortgage in 2003. Jason lives in Lakeville with his wife, Lisa, and their two boys, Kaden and Rylan. When not spending time with his family, Jason enjoys fishing, golfing, and other various sports and outdoor activities.

Anna is a Senior Loan Consultant with Tradition Mortgage. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1999 and began working at Tradition Companies that same year. Anna is Minnesota Mortgage Specialist representing that she has met the highest professional standards in the mortgage industry in Minnesota. This designation represents her commitment to the industry in the form of mortgage lending experience, continuing education, and an agreement to abide by a code of ethics. She currently resides in Inver Grove Heights with her husband Brandon and two children, Ben and Lucy. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening and running.

Lucas has been with Tradition Mortgage since 2004. A graduate of St. Olaf College, Lucas works as a Senior Mortgage Consultant and New Construction Specialist at Tradition. Lucas and his wife Sara have three girls named Nina, Sophia, and Olivia. In addition to spending time at their home in Mendota Heights with his family, he enjoys cooking, any/all sports and outdoor activities, and traveling.

Peter joined Tradition Mortgage is 2009 as a Sr. Mortgage Consultant. Peter has over 23 years experience as a loan officer. Peter graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Economics. Peter is married to his wife (Terri) and they have a 12 year old daughter (Annabel) and live in Edina.

Nick Hanson is a Senior Mortgage Consultant with Tradition Mortgage. He graduated from St. Olaf College in 2003 with a degree in Economics and Management. Nick began his career in the mortgage industry upon graduating from St Olaf and joined Tradition Mortgage in April 2008. Nick enjoys coaching youth hockey and has been active in the Eden Prairie Hockey Association for the past 7 years. He and his wife Jennifer reside in Chanhassen, MN and have one daughter, Alanna, and are expecting their second child in August 2010.

Chris Motzko is the Funding Manager/ Senior Mortgage Consultant for Tradition Mortgage. Chris grew up in Burnsville and graduated from The University of Minnesota at Duluth in 1995. Chris is married to his wonderful wife Rhonda and he has 3 very energetic children Zach (97), Allison (99) and Samuel (07). When not busy with his family Chris likes to play golf and get up North as often as possible.

Chris Estenson is in his 6th year with Tradition Mortgage. As Regional Loan Coordinator, Chris ensures we have all elements necessary to close our loans. Upon approval, he prepares and reviews all of our closing documents. Chris' hobbies include travel, golf, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Matt Larson has 10+ years of experience in the mortgage industry with over 20 years of sales experience. He has developed a strong referral network of clients by listening to their needs, providing options and alternatives and focusing on customer service. A native of Burnsville, Matt attended the University of North Dakota where he was a member of the Sioux football team. Matt currently resides in Hastings, MN with his wife Julie and children, Luke and Taylor. He is an active member in the community and keeps busy coaching his children in their numerous sports activities and also is on the Hastings Football coaching staff. He enjoys playing hockey, golf and refereeing in all of his free time.

Joe Olson began as a loan officer with Tradition Mortgage in 2000, after graduating from St. Olaf College. He is married to his wife Nikki and they currently live in Brooklyn Park. Joe enjoys golf, hockey and many other sporting and outdoor activities.

John currently resides in Savage, MN with his wife Michele and their twin 11 year old boys Tyler and Casey and their 8 year old daughter Caitlin. John is the Treasurer for the Shakopee Hockey Association where he also coaches his three kids. John enjoys hockey, golf and various other sports and activities.

Mark Olsen has been a mortgage loan officer since 1998. He has built his referral-based business by making customer service his top priority. Mark graduated from Colorado College in 1989 with a degree in Economics where he was also a four year letter winner in Hockey. Mark resides in Lakeville with his wife, Kris, and children, Megan, Kelsey, and Jack. Away from work, he spends time coaching his children in various activities and enjoys playing hockey and golf. As a licensed commercial pilot, you might even run into him at a local airport.

Adam Will is a Senior Mortgage Consultant with Tradition Mortgage. In May of 2001 Adam graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield Minnesota with a degree in Economics. Chris joined the Tradition staff in the spring of 2009. He has been in the Mortgage business for 8 years, working as a Closer/Post Closer. When not at work he enjoys playing and watching any and all sports (mostly watching). He was born and raised in Apple Valley and has a place of his own there now, after attending college at Minnesota State, Mankato.

Joy Hays started with Tradition Mortgage in the summer of 2009 and has been a loan processor since 2003. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. Her goal is to make the mortgage process as stress free and smooth as possible for our clients.

Kristen has been with Tradition Mortgage since September 2006. She has been in the mortgage industry as a Loan Processor since 2003. Her number one goal is to make the mortgage process as smooth as possible for the borrower and everyone involved. She is married to Jeremy and they have 3 children: Ellie (5), John (2) and Rosalind (2). Kristen enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, reading and going to the cabin.

Tab is an Underwriter with Tradition Mortgage. Tab & his wife Debbie have lived in Lakeville on and off since 1969. A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Ag Economics, Tab started his lending career as an Ag Loan Officer in 1982. Tab has a diverse background in Restaurant Management, Insurance Sales and Paint Contracting. In 2001 Tab was employed with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as an Account Rep/Underwriter with the HomeServices Lending division until his move to Tradition Mortgage in June of 2009. Tab enjoys gardening, hunting, fishing and cooking as long as there is no cleaning.

Joe is a Senior Partner at North Star Resource Group. Over the last 20 years he has gained a reputation for providing solid counsel to individuals, business clients and associates on estate, retirement, and financial planning issues. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from The College of St. Thomas, as well as earning three key industry certifications: ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), and CLTC (Certified in Long Term Care). Joe is active in his profession, as a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Million Dollar Round Table. He also is very involved in a number of charities, including Bikes for Kids, which gives away 350 bikes to underprivileged children during the holidays. Joe has helped hundreds of people work toward financial security and peace of mind. His well-rounded approach to investment and insurance planning begins with listening to his clients, then using his years of professional experience to create long-term strategies for and partnerships with financially successful people.

Maria stated with Tradition in July 2003. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Marketing in 1996. She moved to Minnesota in 1998. Maria came to Tradition from our warehouse lender where she was a supervisor of the mortgage department .She is a Senior Loan Coordinator and works with clients and loan officers throughout the loan process from document preparation to loan delivery to our investors. Maria is married to Dave and they live in Shakopee.
