Information We May Collect

We obtain information, much of which comes directly for you, as we deem appropriate, to provide you with products and services you have requested. To prepare a loan application, we must analyze a prospective borrower’s income and debt, so that we can determine the maximum mortgage that the prospective borrower (s) can afford. To conduct this analysis we collect and compile a prospective borrower’s or loan applicant’s financial information (including tax returns, investment statements, credit histories, etc) and other related documents that are part of the application process. We also may verify employment, income assets, deposits, mortgages and rents. Often an appraisal of real property is conducted. Furthermore, we may collect identification and contact information, such as your name, address, telephone number, social security number and email address.

Safeguarding Your Information

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Information We may Disclose And To Whom We may Disclose Information

Tradition will not disclose your personal information to companies or organizations not affiliated with it, unless it is to companies (such as insurance companies and brokers, banks, broker/dealers and investment advisors) that provide you service, in the following situations:

Providing administrative, customer assistance, clearing, operational, or other services;

Preparing, printing and/or delivering loan documents;

Maintaining or developing software for us;

Tradition will not sell your personal and confidential information to unaffiliated third parties.

Disclosures Permitted By Law

We may also disclose all the information we collect as permitted or required by law. For example, we may disclose information to law enforcement agencies or insurance and securities regulatory agencies.
